  • My mother IS allergic to pine trees (and grasses and olive trees...Oy!) so for years we have had an artificial tree. Some I have seen are terrible and others are quite lovely.

  • He should be fired. He abandoned his job when he left the plane, and he stole beer from his employer.

  • I'm no advocate of either debarking or declawing, but neither am I a proponent of bans. My current cat has his claws, but I have had a front-declawed cat (gotten when I was a pre-teen and had no input in the decision one way or another.)

  • Gramatically correct English should be a bare minimum standard for ANY teacher. They are modeling communication for their students while also imparting content. That said, so long as their accents are not so thick they inhibit comprehension by their students, there should be no problems.

  • I disagree with the statement that there are ONLY two situations in which another person's child should be disciplined. When the child is endangering others (not just themselves), either animal or human, that's a reason to step in.

  • While driving near Disneyland I recently spotted TNKRCAR on a Tinkerbell green colored VW Bug. The bug also sported a Tinkerbell antenna cover and some sort of window cling of Peter Pan battling Hook.
